While this is not a new thought, it is important.
This is the time of year Sellers are often Rebuilding Pipeline from having closed all they could close last year.
But what is more important? The Mantra for 2016. It is not “Always Be Closing,” it is “Always Be learning!”
Focus on expanding your Knowledge of your Customers, your Products, your Competitors, the Industry you focus on, or ANYTHING that helps give you Different Perspective than you had before, It will Change the way you look at Customers and the way your Customers look at you.
I am not talking about being a walking Textbook about your Customers’ businesses. Look at things in their Industry that they may NOT know about their situation. Even it it may not exactly pertain to them, it will give them an appreciation that you have done your homework on them.
